These rules must be followed at all times. This includes in-role and out-of-role conversations. Chantal will be reading through every post, and if anything seems to be breaking the rules to her, the post will be deleted and you will be warned. If this is a repeating occurrence, you may risk termination.
1. This is literate role-playing. Leave the chat-speak on Facebook. Be aware of grammar and spelling. When you are out-of-role, you may use semi-literate speak, but I still want to see proper word formations.
2. No trolling. Please do not deliberately annoy people.
3. No explicit content. This includes NO sexual roleplaying, sexual photos, swearing, or overly graphic violence. If you are concerned that something you are doing may be too explicit, no need to ask, it probably is.
4. Follow the Story-line. The story is on the home page. Please remember what story is taking place, and do not post anything that does not make sense to the story.
5. Every post must be at least 200 words. There are online counters, and word counter on Microsoft Word, as well.
6. Do not control other characters. Unless you have their permission, other people are likely to get annoyed if you begin to control their character.
7. Have fun! Remember! This is all for pleasure. So be fun with it. This isn't the place to have arguments or get annoyed with people. OH. And no killing characters, obviously.
How this role-play works:
1. Pick your character. Go to the canon claims, and choose a character. The characters with the "________" where their first name should be, currently don't have a name! So you can pick that. I highly recommend that you go to the Harry Potter Wiki and see how your character fits into the series, and use this to your advantage. Not all characters fit into the series, but all of them are probably related to someone who does. So pay attention! You are NOT allowed to change the gender or house of the character. But you may give them a middle name, if you would like.
2. Audition for the role. Go to the audition page, and use the layout to create a profile of your character. Be creative, change up the layout to express your character. As long as the main content of the layout is there, you can do whatever you want! Include an image of some sort of celebrity (that is not previously chosen) who you depict your character to look like. **Note: Seeing as this role-play is based off the book, not movie, you do not have to use Daniel Radcliffe/Emma Watson/Rupert Grint as your characters for Harry/Hermione/Ron. The world is your oyster!
3. After you are accepted. After I preview your audition, I will let you know of any changes, or if it is perfect, accept you. You may then copy and paste your audition onto the Profiles board, under the correct topic!
